Preschool

This program is designed especially for the younger child, aged 3 to 4 years old. The curriculum emphasizes music, language arts, arts and crafts, and large and fine motor activities. Reading and math readiness is introduced according to the maturity level, ability and attention span of the children. The class is structured, but also flexible enough to allow for individual differences and social interaction among the children.

Our Preschool Program is centered on how much God loves each child, and how He created each one in a special and unique way. In the Preschool room, uniqueness truly shines! They learn to make good choices during playtime by being part of a group or sharing with a friend. Children are encouraged to express creativity through music, singing and crafts. During learning time, they practice listening and following directions. Mastering these life skills is an important part of the growth and development process. Large motor skills are developed during indoor and outdoor play.

Teachers read to the children often, but they also have opportunities to choose a book and read quietly on their own in our reading nook. In this way, their reading experience becomes more personal and enjoyable.

A different theme each week makes our time together more fun and unpredictable. By the end of the school year, you will see how much your child has grown and developed physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
