Quality Rating and Improvement System.

Grow NJ Kids was created to provide a universal standard of quality for all early care and education programs (Head Start, Child Care, Family Child Care, Public Schools, etc.) throughout New Jersey. The goal is to create a system that encourages ongoing enhancement for a safe, healthy and high-quality childcare experience.

The Grow NJ Kids initiative provides a standard way to view childcare and gives childcare and early learning programs resources to assess and enhance the quality of care they are providing for New Jersey’s young children. It also focuses on educating parents, providing them with an objective rating system that allows them to evaluate the quality of programs and make the best choices for their child.

A trained rater formally assesses the program using a comprehensive, research-based tool. A program can earn up to five stars, giving parents an easy way to compare and make an educated decision about what is best for their child.

Children of the King Academy has chosen to meet these rigorous national research-based accreditation standards and has earned a 4-Star Rating.
